Lift Life Technology Privacy Policy

Updated March 2026

1.  About This Policy

Lift Life Technology, LLC respects your privacy and is committed to transparent, responsible communication. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect the personal information you provide when you opt into our SMS (text message) and email communication programs.

This policy applies specifically to our SMS and email communication campaigns and any related digital outreach through which you have voluntarily enrolled. Lift Life Technology governs all platforms used to deliver these communications on your behalf and remains fully accountable for all messages sent under our name. This policy supplements our general website Privacy Policy and does not replace or limit any separate agreements you may have with Lift Life Technology.

2.  Who We Are

Lift Life Technology, LLC is a managed IT, cybersecurity, and HIPAA compliance firm serving small and mid-size private medical practices throughout the Houston, Texas metropolitan area and surrounding communities. We operate as a business-to-business service provider and do not provide healthcare services directly to patients.

3.  Information We Collect

When you opt into our SMS and/or email communication programs, we may collect the following categories of information:

3.1  Information You Provide Directly

  • Your name and professional title

  • Your business phone number (mobile, for SMS)

  • Your business email address (for email communications)

  • Your practice or organization name

  • Communication preferences you indicate at time of opt-in

3.2  Information Generated Through Communication

  • SMS message delivery status and timestamps

  • Email open, click, and delivery signals (non-identifiable aggregate analytics only)

  • Response history and engagement within the campaign

  • Opt-out and unsubscribe requests across both channels

We do not collect protected health information (PHI) through our SMS or email programs. Our communications are directed to practice administrators, owners, and executive leadership — not patients.

4.  How We Use Your Information

All information collected through our SMS and email programs is used exclusively to facilitate communications and activities you have opted into. Specific uses include:

  • Delivering messages relevant to services, assessments, or engagements you have expressed interest in

  • Scheduling and confirming appointments, including Executive HIPAA Risk & Reliability Reviews and related engagements

  • Providing follow-up information related to topics discussed during prior outreach or meetings

  • Sharing compliance updates, regulatory changes, or operational alerts directly relevant to your practice

  • Responding to inbound inquiries you initiate via SMS or email

We do not use your information for any purpose beyond communicating with you about the services and activities you have agreed to receive. We will not send marketing messages unrelated to the reason you enrolled.

5.  How We Do NOT Use Your Information

Lift Life Technology is unequivocal on the following commitments:

  • We do not sell your personal information to any third party — ever.

  • We do not rent, lease, or trade your contact information to outside marketers or data brokers.

  • We do not use your information to build targeting profiles for advertising platforms.

  • We do not share your information with affiliates or partners for their independent marketing purposes.

  • We do not use automated profiling or algorithmic decision-making processes that affect your rights or access to services.

6.  How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following limited, necessary circumstances:

6.1  Service Delivery Partners

We use third-party service providers to facilitate SMS and email delivery. These providers operate as data processors acting solely on our instructions and are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose outside of delivering the communications we authorize. Each provider operates under a data processing agreement that enforces the same privacy protections set forth in this policy. We may update or add platforms as operational needs evolve; any new platform will be held to the same processor restrictions described here.

6.2  Legal Obligation

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, regulatory authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lift Life Technology, our clients, or the public. We will notify you of any such disclosure to the extent permitted by law.

6.3  Business Succession

In the event of a merger, acquisition, or transfer of substantially all assets, your information may be transferred to a successor entity, which will be bound by the same privacy commitments set forth in this policy.

No other sharing occurs. Period.

7.  Consent & Opt-In Process

You will only receive SMS or email communications from Lift Life Technology if you have provided explicit, affirmative consent through one of the following methods:

  • Completing a written or digital opt-in form that clearly identifies the Lift Life Technology SMS and/or email communication program, with separate consent pathways for each channel where required

  • Providing verbal confirmation of consent during an in-person meeting, consultation, or site visit, followed by a written confirmation delivered to you via email or text message within 24 hours of that conversation — which you must not decline in order for enrollment to proceed

  • Responding affirmatively to an initial opt-in text message that clearly identifies our program and its purpose

Consent is channel-specific. Opting into SMS does not constitute consent to email, and vice versa, unless you have explicitly opted into both. We do not infer consent from prior business relationships, website visits, or incidental communication.

8.  Message Frequency & Content

Message and email frequency will vary based on your engagement with our services, active campaigns, and the nature of your opt-in. We will not send communications at a frequency that is disproportionate to the scope of your opt-in. SMS messages are reserved for higher-priority, time-sensitive outreach; email is used for informational updates, follow-ups, and campaign communications.

All communications — whether SMS or email — will clearly identify Lift Life Technology as the sender and include an unsubscribe mechanism. Communications may include:

  • Appointment reminders and scheduling confirmations

  • Information about HIPAA compliance updates relevant to your practice

  • Follow-up communications related to assessments or proposals

  • Operational notices related to active engagements

Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Email communications are delivered at no additional cost to recipients.

9.  Your Rights & How to Opt Out

You may withdraw your consent and opt out of Lift Life Technology SMS and/or email communications at any time and on a per-channel basis. Your opt-out request will be honored within one (1) business day.

9.1  To Opt Out of SMS

  • Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us — at any time, for any reason. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts.

  • Contact us at contactus@liftlifetech.com and request removal from our SMS program.

  • Call us at (832) 945-1117 and speak with a team member.

9.2  To Opt Out of Email

  • Click the Unsubscribe link included in the footer of every marketing or campaign email we send.

  • Reply directly to any email from Lift Life Technology with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject line.

  • Contact us at contactus@liftlifetech.com and request removal from our email list.

Opting out of one channel does not automatically remove you from the other. Please specify which channel(s) you are opting out of, or request removal from all communications.

9.3  Additional Rights

Lift Life Technology's SMS and email programs are directed to business professionals acting in a commercial capacity, not to consumers under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA). Nonetheless, we voluntarily extend the following rights to all enrolled contacts:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate information

  • Request deletion of your information, subject to legal retention requirements

  • Request a copy of your information in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, submit a written request to: contactus@liftlifetech.com. We will respond within thirty (30) days.

10.  Data Security

Lift Life Technology maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information — whether collected through SMS or email — from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. As a managed cybersecurity firm serving HIPAA-regulated practices, security is not an afterthought — it is our operational standard.

Safeguards include, but are not limited to: encrypted data transmission, access controls limited to authorized personnel, and periodic security reviews of our communication platforms.

No method of transmission over the internet or mobile network is 100% secure. In the event of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify you promptly and in accordance with the Texas Identity Theft Enforcement and Protection Act (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 521.053), which requires notification no later than sixty (60) days after we determine that a breach has occurred.

11.  Data Retention

We retain your contact information and communication history only for as long as necessary to:

  • Fulfill the purpose for which you enrolled in our program

  • Maintain business records as required by applicable law or regulation

  • Resolve disputes or enforce our agreements

Upon receipt of a verified deletion request, we will remove your information from active systems within thirty (30) days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

12.  HIPAA Considerations

Lift Life Technology's SMS and email communication programs are directed to healthcare practice leadership — not to patients and not for the transmission of protected health information (PHI). Our campaigns do not contain, request, or transmit PHI.

To the extent Lift Life Technology operates as a Business Associate to any covered entity under HIPAA, those obligations are governed by a separate Business Associate Agreement (BAA), not by this policy.

13.  Children's Privacy

Our SMS and email communication programs are directed exclusively to business professionals and are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently received information from a minor, please contact us immediately at contactus@liftlifetech.com.

14.  Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, applicable law, or communication platforms. We will notify enrolled SMS and email subscribers of material changes via the applicable channel(s) prior to the effective date of the update.

Continued participation in our SMS and/or email programs following notification of a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to an updated policy, you may opt out of either or both channels at any time using the methods described in Section 9.
